It takes a community of well trained professionals, specialized in all areas of disability support and business, to ensure that the people we serve get the best service that the industry has to offer. However, there is one position that truly unites everyone together, and that is the Direct Support Professional position. Specializing in residential supports, here are the minimum qualifications for our Direct Support Professional position:

  3. Co-operative Education and Practicum Students
  4. Employee Referrals

  1. Resume
  2. At least 18 years old 
  3. Completion of Grade 10 
  4. *Criminal Record Check
  5. Class 5f or I, Drivers License and a Drivers abstract
  6. *Adult Abuse Registry Check​
  7. Valid First Aid/CPR Certificate
  8. **Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training
  9. **Vulnerable Persons Act Training

​*Checks must be no older than 3 months old. 
**Re-certification may be made available in certain circumstances.
