Fairfax Gear

Services

In 2008, after 25 years of working in both the private and public sector Kelly Miller, founder and Executive Director identified a gap in services which led to the development of Fairfax Community Resources Inc.

Fairfax (Inc.) began with one client who was challenged to find supports. By focusing on creating  individualized, person-centered support plans combined with providing customized environments, Fairfax (Inc.) quickly built a reputation in Winnipeg as an agency of choice for many adults living with intellectual disabilities.

Within three years Fairfax Community Resources Inc. quickly expanded by over 600%. However, this unprecedented growth would not go unchallenged as Fairfax (Inc.)'s prosperity continued and would find itself starting year six employing over 150 employees.
